Core Description Accountable for the conversion of the TLM strategy into tactical business objectives, plans and performance measures and the management, monitoring and maintenance of these strategies. The key focus will be on the alignment of TLM technology strategies within the company, technology scanning, evaluation and selection, regulatory impact, competitive strategies, pricing structures, TLM business cases, value chain performance and information management.

Job Responsibilities - Conduct Packet and Optical Transport network and competitive strategies, Packet and Optical Transport bundles and pricing structures,
Technology scanning, Technology Specifications, Evaluation and selection and Regulatory Impact Research
- Finalize report and disseminate information
- Drive further action/ interventions
- Establish and maintained relationships across Telkom
- Develop Strategies and Plans for Packet and Optical Transport networks and technology, Competitive, Packet and Optical Transport bundles
and pricing structures, Regulatory impact and Packet and Optical Transport business cases
- Manage change by establishing a change management team and plan the change process - Establish transition structures
- Implement and evaluate change wrt: Packet and Optical Transport strategies, Performance enhancement and Packet and Optical Transport
programs
- Manage Information ito: Analyse and reduce information, store and distribute Packet and Optical Transport networks and technology
strategies, Competitive strategies, Packet and Optical Transport bundles and pricing structures, Regulatory impact, and Packet and Optical
Transport business cases
- Perform Technology Scanning and identify new service/ product direction and industry best practice
- Analyse and address shortcomings in existing services/ products performance
- Develop and document business proposals for new/ enhanced services/ products
- Establish service/product strategies based on market trends, future product needs, and technical capabilities
- Build strategic relationships with relevant stakeholders by developing a stakeholder strategy
- Partner with relevant internal and external stakeholders to support and improve service delivery
- Build and manage strategic customer partnerships
- Obtain required information from key role players

Required Certification None.
Qualifications Relevant 3 year degree/ diploma in Telecommunications & Engineering (at least NQF 6).
Experience 8 Years relevant experience, of which at least 2 years at management level. Relevant experience on IP/NGN technologies will be an advantage
Special Requirements - Experience on IP/NGN technologies
- Leadership in a changing environment
- Valid driver's license
- Be prepared to work outside of normal working hours.
- Willing to travel
