Purpose of position:
The Systems Support Administrator is responsible forensuring the resolution of second line support issues and the coordination of the resolutions withinternal business unit and the DevOps team. Additionally the role is responsible for ensuringcontinuous improvement of Digital Systems through critically identifying areas of improvement basedon customer feedbacks, support cases, and internal complaints.
Key ResponsibilityAreas:

Day to day resolution of support cases escalated to second line supportwithin SLA.
Producing the weekly supports reports containing all tickets logged againstDigital System team with their resolution rates, status, and categories.
Escalating issuesto relevant team and business unit ensuring first time resolution.
Implementing ticket andrequest handling processes across various departments and business units.
Follow-up andupdate affected business area on support cases.
Root cause analysis of support cases todrive first time resolution.
Management of Digital Systems support costs.
Executeand project management on support related projects.
Manage first line support and theirsystems ensuring SLA adherence on first line support cases.
The support administrator willwork closely with the DevOps team and Digital Product Managers on special/priority projectsrequiring area of expertise in service oriented architecture design. The role manages supportperformance and is responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and execution of activities inensuring resolution 
Digital Platform customer, internal business units, and Partnersupport cases.

Job Requirements:

Education &Experience
Degree in (IT related degree or equivalent
Knowledge of businesssystems modeling, including Microsoft UML, BPMN, SysML
Systems analysis experience,solution architect experience is beneficial
Basic understanding of platforms such as XMLand Entity Framework, knowledge of N-Tier development will be an advantage
Experience inEnterprise Architecture (UML, BPMN)
Knowledge of software development life cycledevelopment methodologies (e.g. Agile)
Basic knowledge of system integration development,API development, web services creation and utilization
Basic knowledge of public cloudplatforms (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Amazon, Google)
Technical Competencies:
Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies
Stronginterpersonal skills
Systems and Process modelling skills
Ability to diagnosetechnical issues and conduct investigative root cause analysis
Ability to effectivelyprioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working bothindependently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
