Role details:
GAAP Point of Sale is recruiting an Installation Electrician. The position is based at our offices in Midrand, Johannesburg and the successful applicant will be reporting to the Cabling Service Manager or their nominees at GAAP where applicable.

Job Specification: Able to connect DB board.
Able to lay UPS cabling and connect plugs.
Follow standard processes and procedures.
Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications.
Escalate challenges experienced to the team leader as soon as it happens.
Report back regularly to team leader as required.

Minimum Requirements & Competencies:
Experience in data cabling (advantageous)
Valid drivers licence
Experience in power cabling (essential)
Must be able to work overtime when required
Position requires patience
Position requires an analytical and positive thinker
Be able to work at heights and move in ceilings.
Must have a Wiremans License
Must be able to issue COCs
