SUMMARY:

This exciting new opportunity exists in the Information & Technology – Corporate Systems team, based at our Support Office in Kenilworth, Cape Town. We are looking for a SharePoint Consultant with experience in Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365 within the Retail industry. The position will form part of a team responsible for the support, administration, maintenance, and development of Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online and Power Platform Environment. The team focuses on building small to medium size solutions to simplify and improve business process using Microsoft 365 services and applications.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

3-5 years’ experience supporting Microsoft SharePoint Online

1-2 years’ experience building no/low code solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate

Microsoft Certification (Advantage: AZ-900, PL-900, MS-300, MS-301, PL-100, PL-200)

Knowledge of Cloud computing (Microsoft Azure)

Must have solid understanding of business processes

Continuous broadening of Microsoft Office 365 technical and functional skills

Able to quickly learn and apply new technologies

Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to prepare various analyses and evaluation of technologies

SharePoint 2010/2013

SharePoint Online Administration

SharePoint Designer & SharePoint 2013 Workflows

Power Platform (Power Automation and Power Apps)

PowerShell - use of native Microsoft cmdlets, PnP PowerShell

Microsoft 365 Administration

Microsoft Teams knowledge


Technical Skills Preferred:

Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery.

SPFX knowledged

ShareGate

Understanding and experience of Microsoft Azure

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administration of Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online and Power Platform Environment

Manage, troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint Online, Power Apps and Power Automate related incidents within specified SLA

Implement recommended practices to improve users SharePoint Online experience

Design and build engaging Modern SharePoint Pages and Sites

Design, build and implement solutions using “out of box” SharePoint Online and Power Platform capabilities

Gathering of broad, minimum, or complex requirements. You will be required to unpack the requirements, use your imagination and ingenuity to meet the business needs

Work directly with business and end users to simplify, improve and automate business processes

Present and demo solutions using user-friendly language

Deliver and manage business stakeholder expectations

Create technical documentation and user guides for solutions build by the team

Knowledge management and sharing within the team and the rest of the business

Mentor super users and citizen developers in the business
