Our client, in the financial industry, is seeking the services of a Domain Capacity Analyst.We are looking for a minimum of 3-5 years of IT industry experience. At least 1 years of experience as a capacity planner, hands-on system engineer, performance analyst and/or information system modeller on relevant platforms. Experience using capacity planning tools, Demonstrated experience in the use of statistical analysis to characterize capacity usage and forecast capacity requirementsPurpose: Planning, analysis, and optimization of capacity infrastructure (storage networks, midrange and the mainframe), in order to satisfy the demands of the business in a scheduled manner and at a rational and reasonable cost. Capacity Management practicesTechnical Skills: Applications - Communications and MS Office Suite, Capacity Management toolsets, Service Level Management, Capacity Management, Continuous Process Improvement - Lean Process MethodologyResponsibilities: Define, create and maintain capacity plans for specified GTI Products and ServicesDefines specific Capacity and Performance Monitoring and Alert threshold requirements based on Service DesignsDelivers Capacity Reports and Metrics to support Capacity Management and other GTI functionsPerform IT component or resource-level capacity planning and IT-service-level capacity planning Domain focused contribution to establish realistic GTI budgets for IT infrastructure by providing capacity forecasting and estimates to demand and investment management.Respond to capacity planning requests from Domain Capacity ManagerDevelop and maintain differentiated capacity plans for Lines of Business services.Develop models and plans to analyze performance, capacity, consolidation opportunities and possible platform synergies. (Modelling).
