One of our clients based inCenturion is looking for a Desktop Support Manager. The right candidate must have shown and proventrack record of Managing the End-Users supports in a LARGE organisation. Must show Team Managementof at least 10-15 Engineers. The right candidate will have to show Leadership and Guidance toTechnical Support Engineers, while ensuring the team performs.

ProvidesLeadership and Guidance to Technical Support Engineers, while ensuring the team performs at itshighest level. Help Technical Support Engineers (TSEs) troubleshoot technical andnon-technical issues that they encounter while assisting customers. Work with Technical Support Technical Leads,Escalation Engineers and Dev teams to get difficult issues resolved in a timelymanner

Responsibilities
Manage information technology and computer systems
Plan, organize, control andevaluate IT and electronic data operations
Manage IT staff by recruiting, training andcoaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
Design,develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
Ensure security of data,network access and backup systems
Act in alignment with user needs and system functionalityto contribute to organizational policy
Identify problematic areas and implement strategicsolutions in time
Audit systems and assess their outcomes
Preserve assets,information security and control structures
Handle annual budget and ensure costeffectiveness
