Key Resonsibility AreasFirst line of contact for a selected customer base.
Provide relevant informationregarding products in terms of their features and benefits.
Timeously and accurately handlecustomer queries and quotations.
Create specific pricing and service structures for eachclient in allocated database.
Negotiate pricing with clients and close sale on agreedprice.
Provide client with stock availability and order status information.
Minimize stock related cost to the customer.
Ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Manage the closed sale including the financial transaction and the dispatch thereof.
Maximise procurement of product from the company and seek opportunistic sales on customercalls.
Analyse customer profiles of sales against the company products.
Close gapsand introduce new product lines.
Analyse customer profile of sales and identify gaps in thecompany product range and present to the company marketing department.
Build awareness ofthe cost, revenue implications, market conditions and actions to ensure sustained competitiveadvantage in a volatile market place.
Hold weekly pipeline management meetings and monthlyaccount review meetings.
Present sales trend, backorder and operational reports foranalysis of opportunities for cost management and sales development.
Explore allopportunities and feedback information to marketing and debtors to ensure smooth flow inavailability, development of new product opportunities, agressive folllow-up of deals/opportunitiesand smoot avilability of credit facilities.
Job Requirements
Matric certificate with exemption(essential).
Two years sales experience in IT (essential) IT distribution preferred.
One year sales experience selling to large corporate customers (preferred)
Accountmanagement experience (essential)
Knowledge of processes critical in support of sales e.g.RMA’s and deliveries (essential)
Marketing or commerce degree or diploma(essential)
