Field Service Engineerwith IOS / Android / Windows 7 till latest OS Experience – Gauteng and Northwest
DataCentrix is looking for a Field Service Engineer’s to handle daily technical supportactivities on desktop support, data network and server management. Setup of end user devices withvarious applications, programs and test network connections. Maintain computer peripheral deviceslike printers and resolve associated problems. Test computers to ensure proper functioning ofcomputer systems. Guide end users on usage of computer hardware and software.
To be based atthe following sites

Parktown
Northwest (Mafikeng)
Hatfield
Tembisa

All technical service division engineers may be required to assist withcustomer problem resolution workload from time to time outside of their general areas ofqualification. Under such circumstance additional support and guidance will be providedtelephonically by senior engineering staff.
Must have own transport as you are required totravel from time to time.
TechnicalSkills

Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networkingrelated queries
Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripheralswhere required
Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
Guide users withsimple, step-by-step instructions
Conduct remote troubleshooting
Test alternativepathways until you resolve an issue
Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
Record technical issues and solutions in logs
Direct unresolved issues to the nextlevel of support personnel
Follow up with clients to ensure their systems arefunctional
Report customer feedback and potential product request
Take guidanceand learn from more experienced engineer
Install, configures, tests, and troubleshootsnetwork hardware and software

Experience Areas:

Minimum 2 to 4 years’ technicaldesktop support and network experience
Experience in Microsoft server, network, networkprinting, mail exchange – POP etc.
Experience in IOS / Android / Windows 7 tilllatest OS,
Experience in general Firewalling.
A+ and N+ experience
TCP/IPexperience
Self-confidence and interpersonal skills
Work is performedindependently requiring judgment and discretion. May receive limited guidance for new assignments.Work may be reviewed for overall technical adequacy.
Analytical and problem solvingskills
Ability to work independently while taking direction from management whenrequired
