Business Systems Administrator

Tygervalley Office, Bellville

We are seeking a Sage ERP 300 (Accpac) business systems administrator who can participate at a high level on our business systems support team. You will engage with internal clients to understand their specific business requirements and then work on implementation and support on Sage ERP 300 (Accpac) solutions in order to help them reach their goals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, information technology, or equivalent, required
• 5+ years’ experience in system administration or database
• Extensive experience required working with Sage ERP 300. A Sage ERP 300 certified consultant qualification will be considered as beneficial.
• Experience presenting to senior staff in mid-size companies (50+ employees)
• Experience in a business environment such as Accounting, Distribution, and Manufacturing is required
• Must be dedicated, ethical, honest, professional, and a team player
• Outstanding communication and administration skills is required
• Should be driven, eager to learn and can work independently as well as in a team
• Should know how to prioritise and you can plan and organise own activities well
• Should be analytically strong, creative, result-oriented and have strong communication and presentation skills


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring the optimal performance of Sage ERP (Accpac) and Sage CRM systems and add-on products
• Upgrading and configuring Sage ERP (Accpac) for optimized integration
• Building custom reports and dashboard for end-users
• Performing problem-solving tasks when alerted by a user or monitoring the system
• Planning and executing a strategy to maintain business system
• Ensuring that all system workflows, and configurations are made in a timely manner to minimize any disruptions to business operations
• Training and supporting the end-users on the correct use of the system software
• Creating an ongoing system training solution to keep end-users’ skills at peak levels
• Participate in the system analysis to find opportunities to better utilize our business systems
• Performing system upgrades, create and maintain databases
• Importing data when needed
• Other duties as assigned
