Our client, a leading ITDistributor of hardware and software products has a challenging and rewarding position available foran Internal Sales Administrator

Purpose of position:
Promote the sale of computer hardware and software; effectively and efficiently service customersbelonging to a specific Account Manager(s) or in the general sales team.
Key Responsibility Areas:

Displayaccuracy regarding messages, quotes, orders, and information given
Answer customer queries,offer product information, do quotes and process orders, track deliveries, obtain POD’setc.
Engage with clients to establish the hardware and software needs of theirbusiness
Ensure customer expectations are met (order taking and delivery)
Provideafter sales support
Back order follow up and executing of queries including offeringalternative in-stock items
Be able to organize time effectively, with the purpose ofcompleting today’s work today
Continuous product knowledge improvement (ongoingtraining)
Cross and up sell of unavailable and or alternative product
Fast,complete and accurate responses to email and telephonic quote requests
Skilful pricenegotiation using system tools available (ERP)
Manage the sourcing and delivery of productsto the customer
Generate interest in all company products
Keep customers informedof new product development and IT innovation opportunities
Present self in a well informedand articulate manner via the telephone
Work in a team environment and be able to use owninitiative
Deal with all customer related queries
Prospect for new customers anddevelop underperforming customers
Report on lost deals with reasons and pending deals(pipeline)
Update CRM to ensure customer understanding and allow proactive marketing

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience

Matric passed with exemption (essential)
Minimum 2 years sales experience(essential)
Relevant Degree/Diploma (optional) Technical Competencies:
MS OfficeSuite (Intermediate – essential, especially Excel)
Knowledge of CRM and ERP system(preferred) Behavioural Competencies:
Analytical, systematic and punctual
Problemsolving abilities
High level of energy
Team player
Results driven
Attention to detail
Self-confidence and self-driven
