Role details:
• Liaises with service providers and partners around network planning, solution & integration.
• Compiles and updates network documentation.
• Network Management.
• Visits data centres for network related actions, including installation and maintenance.
• Applies upgrades and patches to core network.
• Ensures Core Network device configurations have been backed up.
• Liaises with R & D on new solutions.
• Provide support and monitoring of Core Network elements.
• Reporting on Core networks.
• Provides high level technical support to the second line support team (Tier 2) for all FastNet products.
• Maintaining the integrity of the Company's management systems.
• Provides support with technical process documentation for network solutions to relevant divisions.
• Tests and deploys new Core firmware.
• Network capacity planning.
• Improve Network availability and reliability.
• Develop Proactive approach to Network Management.
• Ensures Network operational readiness for the deployment of new product and services.
• Manages core network implementation and architecture.
• Manages core network devices and software versions.
• Provides Monthly reports.
• Manages customer escalation when necessary.
• Liaises with 3rd party vendors.
• Engages the client and service provider on network requirements.
• Performs network profiling & reporting.

Experience & Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of Network Technical Support, Network Engineering and design.
• Experience in supporting, designing and implementing LAN, WAN and WiFi Networks. Layer 2 and layer 3.
• Experience with Network Management Tools.
• CCNP, CCIP, CCSP or higher essential.
• Own transport
