Role DescriptionSenior Engineer – Software Deployment Salary : Negotiable City of Capetown
Skills and Experience
• Install, configure and maintain all software deployment servers in the managed environment. • Secure the software deployment servers. • Configure and maintain the deployment database • Maintain and configure software distribution points. • Maintain and configure management points. • Monitor the success of software distribution and remediate on failure. • Maintain the health of the software deployment client on the workstations and servers. • Collect all the patches and software updates for workstations and servers • Create collections for the various types of servers and workstation operating systems. • Advertise patches and software updates for deployment • Troubleshoot and remediate unsuccessful deployments • Create custom queries for hardware and software inventory. • Provide software deployment statistics for management. • Provide patch management status reports. • Report on client health on workstations and servers • Sound knowledge of Active Directory 2012 R2 • Sound knowledge of System Centre Configuration Manager 2012 R2 • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013 • Sound communication skills • Sound knowledge of the ITIL framework For more information please contact Monique Joubert @ : 010 590 4000
