Our external clientbased in Sandton is looking for an Automation Tester on contract for 12 months to test the qualityand business readiness of various business products/solutions by analysing, designing, developingand implementing automated test conditions to confirm that the business requirements are met tominimise risk

Qualifications
IT National Diploma / ISTQB/ISEB Certification / Computer Science National Diploma / BSC(Information Technology)
Experience

1 - 2 years of software testing experience AND1-2 years software development experience

Working knowledge of the softwaredevelopment life-cycle

Effective written and oral communication skills as well asstrong interpersonal skills

Experience in Manual testing (System/Regression)

Proficient in API Testing

Proficient in Scripting 

Proficient in respective programming environment (e.g. Java, c#, etc.)

Experience in Test Plan preparation, estimation and status reporting (Should have worked onOnsite-offshore model)

Database testing

Automation tools such asSelenium and Test Partner
