One of our externalclient is looking for a Testing Manager - ENABLON UPGRADE on contract for a critical project.

Company require the services of a Testing Manager to assist with theupgrade of Enablon (the Safety and Sustainable Development transactional and reporting system). Thesuccessful incumbent will be required to be part of the project team and be responsible for ensuringthat thorough, robust, test strategies, test cases and plans are developed, implemented andexecuted. A number of Enablon upgrades have been done in the past and testing was performedinternally by the team. The process is becoming more complex with additional modules, businessunits/ users, reports, platforms (mobility) and integration. Company customised the standard Enablonapplication and the upgrade must ensure that customisation and related functionality is maintained.The upgrade will also introduce a number of new features.
 
The following key risks need to be managed:
Data loss
Functionality relating to bugs / issues
Regression testing
Integration issues
Performance
 
There are anumber of modules within Enablon that are key to the business, and all of these modules need tooperate the same post the upgrade, as they did prior to the upgrade, hence the requirement forthorough testing.
The TestManager will be required to engage with specialists and end users in order understand thefunctionality of the Enablon modules.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the testing requirements areunderstood, engagements take place with the End Users and key stakeholders, will be responsible fordeveloping a robust testing strategy for the various modules being supported by Enablon, andensuring the execution thereof.
The testing Manager will be required to schedule testing with the relevant Stakeholders atthe relevant times, as well as actively participate in the testing.
Issues identified during testing will need to becommunicated to the relevant role-players within the Project, and the progress of addressing theseissues will need to be tracked/followed through, to the resolution of those issues raised.
The successful incumbent willlead the Testing Work Stream, and will report to both the Enablon Support Manager, as well as theProject Manager. Weekly update feedback will be required for Project Progress Meetings, in additionto input for Steering Committee Meetings.
The requirement will be for a four month duration –commencing with the Planning of the Project in January 2018, right through to the end of theProject, ensuring that all aspects of testing are addressed throughout the Projectjourney
