INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY
SENIOR NET DEVELOPER
TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R694 272 PER ANNUM
REF.: CS 106/18
Requirements:
- A relevant and appropriate qualification
- Minimum of 5 years IT experience in application software development
- Experience in developing software solutions in a Microsoft Team systems environment using technologies such as: Microsoft Visual Studio, SharePoint, C#, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, ASP .NET MVC, JavaScript, CSS and Team Foundation Server
- Knowledge of service-oriented development lifecycle methodology and modelling frameworks such as: SOMF, discovery and analysis modelling notation and Agile Methodologies (SCRUM)
- Experience in developing user experience architectures, business process and workflow designs, data architecture, identity and access design, designing and developing web-services
- Experience in managing application development projects through the Systems Development Lifecycle
- In-depth experience in solution design and knowledge of SOA.

Key Performance Areas: - Lead and participate in all phases of the software application development lifecycle with an emphasis on solution architecture and design, development, configuration, testing, release and maintenance of internal and external web-based software systems
- Lead and make design decisions to create innovative, elegant and re-usable software systems
- Develop key components and modules
- Collaborate with management to constantly improve and enforce the software development process
- Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure the release of high-quality products
- Strive towards an optimum integration level of software products and data, ensuring that the systems development environment is flexible, agile and adaptable to business needs presently and in the future.
