One of the World’s largest providers of professional technical services is seeking to recruit a well-rounded Lead / Senior Process Engineer with 10-15 years’ experience to join their team.

Minimum Required Skills/and Qualifications:
BSc. Chemical Engineering degree with a minimum of 10 years engineering experience of which 6 years should be in a contracting environment.
The incumbent must understand the fundamentals of unit operation sizing and have an understanding of the relevant process safety systems as well as design procedures.
The successful candidate must be capable of producing Process Flow and Instrumentation Diagrams and have experience in Process Simulation Packages (Aspen or PROII), Heat Exchanger Ratings (HTRI), unit operation sizing and safety related system sizing.
The Incumbent must have successfully performed in the position of lead engineer on at least 3 large projects in the basic and detail engineering phase. The candidate must have participated in commissioning and plant start-up.
Experience in distillation processes is essential.

Scope of Work:
Leading a team of process engineers on various projects
Is to finalize Tie-ins, re-rating / debottlenecking of existing and design of new equipment including hydraulic and thermal calculations as well as basic and detail engineering
The individual will also need to participate in process reviews.
Computer process simulations using ASPEN
Thermal design of heat exchanges using HTRI (incl. re boilers & condensers)
The scope of this role will require the incumbent to assist in the Process Engineering Department as a lead on projects as well as be part of a team on a project from start to completion.
