IT PROJECT MANAGER (PG7)
 
The incumbent will report to the Head of IT and will be responsible for theoverall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specificprojects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.   The keyperformance areas will be:
 
Lead the planning and implementation of IT projectsFacilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables Define project tasks and resourcerequirements Develop full scale project plans, project status reports and overall project summariesManagement project budget, resource allocation and project changes Plan, schedule and track projecttimelines Monitor and evaluate projects and report on progress and/or findings/solutions to allstakeholders Co-ordinate project staff
 The ideal incumbent should meet the followingcriteria :-
Relevant Bachelors Degree or equivalent Qualification in Project Management willbe advantageous 5 years operational experience in theoretical and practical project managementKnowledge of project management techniques and tools Proven experience in people management,strategic planning, risk management and change management Experience with ERP systems, eg: JDE andproficient with budgeting and forecasting systems, eg: TM1 and Cognos.
