IBM Planning analytics – IBM Cognos Tables Manager 1 Developer We are currentlyrepresenting a leading IT accounts company based in the Northern suburbs, Cape Town in their searchof an analytical (IBM Cognos) Tables Manager1 Developer, with experience in VBA and IBM Cognos. Youwill be part of a consulting team that designs, builds & maintains reporting, forecasting, budgetingand costing applications. Duties and responsibilities: Ability to see a project through frominception to completion including technical installation Ability to work with business and financeusers to gather requirements Translating business needs into an efficient technical solution for endusers Experience working with Finance teams would be preferable. Able to communicate effectively andbe comfortable discussing ideas with finance professionals at all levels of management andend-users. Experience in the installation and upgrading of TM1 software Demonstrated experiencemanaging Tables Manager1 throughout a budgeting and planning cycle Should be able to handlemodifications and fix issues in existing TM1 reports as well as troubleshoot incidents for TablesManager1 processes not loading successfully

Able to communicate effectively and becomfortable discussing ideas with finance professionals at all levels of management and end-users.Experience in the installation and upgrading of TM1 software Demonstrated experience managing TablesManager1 throughout a budgeting and planning cycle Should be able to handle modifications and fixissues in existing TM1 reports as well as troubleshoot incidents for Tables Manager1 processes notloading successfully

Skills and Experience
Requirements: 4+ years of development experience with IBM Cognos Tables Manager1 and TablesManager1 Web. Strong knowledge of Tables Manager1 Rules, Feeders and TI Processes Should havehands-on experience with Turbo Integrator processes development, Dimensions, Cubes, Cube rules,Tables Manager1 input templates and Active form reports, scorecards and dashboards Strong VBA andadvanced Microsoft Excel skills, having excellence in building management reports and an eye forexcel report design Experience/exposure to PAX/CAFÉ Exposure to Linux would be an advantageMinimum two end-to-end development projects and one support project experience ValidDriver’s license and own reliable transport Must have a Degree Bachelor’s degree inInformation Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a relatedtechnical discipline.
