The Software Development Manager is accountable for managing and coordinating resources and processes to deliver software releases within an agile scrum environment.Duties & RolesEnsure that teams have appropriate product, technical specifications, direction and resources to deliver products effectively Establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines Evolve the existing software system applications and architecture as neededCoordinate release and sprint planning Oversee the daily scrum meetings Assist the developers to resolve both technical problems as well as human resources issues Monitor all the individual employee s performancesProvide leadership, guidance, motivation and lead the team members to their optimum performance levels and career development.Requirements:A relevant Tertiary Education and Testing Certification is beneficialIT Qualification, relevant tertiary degree or Diploma A deep understanding of software development areas, such as configuration management, release management, version control, code reuse, loose coupling, tight cohesion, general technical solution architectureExperience in industry standard development Working knowledge of databasesWorking knowledge of Scrum/Agile/LeadKnowledge of Infrastructure advantageous
