Listed property company seeks young dynamic professional who will have direct interaction with the executive team in a property corporate finance role. Our client has over R12 billion in assets with a portfolio balance of 70% retail, 15% office and 15% industrial. Their aim is to be the most valued property fund on the JSE through active asset management which includes exploiting investment opportunities, acquiring high-quality property assets, pursuing optimal development and expansion opportunities and disposing of non-core assets. They have managed resources and capital through accessing the capital markets and diversifying funding sources to mitigate volatility and risk in funding costs. They are looking to appoint a Corporate Property Finance Analyst who will be responsible for analysing possible transactions (sales or acquisitions) and providing preliminary feedback to the executive team. This will include conducting due diligences, financial modelling, and preparing, presenting and obtaining sign-off of Investment Committee papers. You will also be called on to manage sales for the Fund, keeping an updated sales list with projected cash-flows on properties and sale analysis. In order to apply, you will need a relevant qualification (CA(SA) / CFA / Property Honours) coupled a minimum of 5 years work experience in Corporate Finance, and / or have commercial property related experience with some corporate finance experience.
