We are looking for a Web/Graphics Designer (Web, Print & Social Media Content) based in Johannesburg
The Ideal candidate must have completed their studies - A junior person willing to grow with the company

The Web, Print & Social Media Content Producer will organize, develop, and maintain content on the website and social media platforms.
They will provide technical support and management to website constituents. This position reports to the Managing Director
The employee will be responsible for ensuring consistency with the website vision and style guide, while developing strategies to help keep content fresh and dynamic. The specialist will be responsible for executing day-to-day updates as well as proactive creation and maintenance of content to promote and advertise the associated companies and community initiatives.
Successful candidates will have a combination of technical experience, written and interpersonal communication skills, and initiative to help improve our website and enhance communication for internal and external audiences.
The right candidate should be vibrant and very open to constructive criticism.
The candidate will need to communicate, listen and understand needs before making design decisions daily.
The candidate will work on a variety of projects and activities, such as websites, advertising, magazines, posters, product packaging, displays, corporate communications and corporate identity, logo designs and redesigns, marketing strategies and any pre-press requirements, weekly specials, promotions, new products launches, create, maintain and update the product catalogue, pull up banners, posters, package designs, design accordingly for road shows and exhibitions, design pamphlets, brochures, competition material. i.e. anything else that gives our organizations a visual 'brand'.

• Responsible for developing, designing, posting content and managing websites to ensure that website compliments collateral while complying with brand guidelines.
• Ensure website and all social media platforms are well designed, responsive, and properly maintained.
• Consistently monitor, analyse and post on all social media platforms for the Group.
• Monitor web analytics and provide reports to leadership on a regular basis.
• Monitor and update Google AdWords and provide analysis on a regular basis.
• Monitor and benchmark competitor website and social media postings for ideas, best practices, and creative approaches.
• Improves usability of website and enhance the overall user experience.
• Provide project management skills and leadership with regards to quality control and content of website.
• Train and collaborate with department microsite managers for optimal website functionality.
• Identify risks to the organization and discuss risk reduction options with manager(s).
• Stay current with industry best-practices, emerging technologies and trends.
• Identify risks to the organization within the department and discuss risk reduction options with immediate supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in digital media, marketing, communication, journalism, design or related field
• Demonstrated expertise in CSS and HTML (with fluency in hand coding)
• Experience with front-end web development
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PHP, JavaScript
• Good Corel Draw skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with some project management experience
• Experience working cross-functionally within a team
• Ability to work independently and outside of standard office hours
• Strong customer service orientation
