Purpose of the position:
 
Education & Experience:
  Matric passed with exemption (essential)
 
  Relevant Degree/Diploma (preferred)
 
  Minimum 5 years technical experience in designing, troubleshooting,project management 
 
  Minimum 5 years ofdemonstrated experience in technical
To support external customers both on and off site. As an Account Manageryou will be providing technical support, design complex solutions, general product and solutionadministration for customers with a focus on customer relationship building through prompt andefficient service.
 
KeyResponsibility Areas:
 

Perform hands-on product administration tasks;implement SLA’s with customer and manage SLA’s and customer requirements;

Perform product support function at customer sites as needed with traveling flexibility.

Develop strong working relationships with product and other departments within theorganization.

Act as first point of contact for any requirements from thecustomer.

Actively participate in project teams, representing the organisation ina professional and cooperative interdepartmental atmosphere.

Promote the sale ofallocated product/s effectively and efficiently to the organization’ customers in allocatedregion via personal visits, telephone and email contact, marketing and training events.

Generate interest in allocated products with clients currently not resellingthese. 

Prospect for new product and solution opportunities within yourcustomer.

Provide technical & product advice across multiple products andtechnologies.

Present self in a well informed and articulate manner 

Skilful price negotiation using system tools available (ERP)

Dealwith all customer related queries on allocated product/s

Report on lost deals withreasons and pending deals (pipeline)

Display accuracy regarding messages, quotes,orders, and information given.

Answer customer queries, offer productinformation-do quotes and process orders

Consult with clients to establish theneeds of their business

Ensure customer expectations are met (order taking anddelivery)

Increase overall customer satisfaction of new and existing customer basein order to be effective in solving challenges that arise, and need to be solved for thecustomer.
 
Job Requirements:
