Key Deliverables / Primary Functions Develop, enhance and maintain an integrated pricing tool that incorporates the pricing models of each product houses, ensuring regulatory and commercial compliance.
Create/ update and integrate pricing tools based on new offerings and post-mortem analyses.
Participate in the development of the bid pricing strategy and guiding principles for high-value deals, in consultation with product managers, account managers, solution architects and bid management.
Conduct analysis to understand customer value, and risk/uncertainty and price accordingly.
Assist product house in terms of pricing and positioning of new products and services.
Conduct post implementation reviews of deals to ensure billing is aligned with contracted terms and condition.
Ensure improved competitiveness of product pricing through greater financial understanding of the product costing methodologies employed, including the allocation of shared costs and overheads.
Support revenue assurance and NVAS billing in terms of identifying contract to bill errors and omissions and support upsell opportunities.
Contribute to the identification and mitigation of risks relating to deal pricing and profitability.
Produce reports on deal pricing, margins, profitability and analyses.
Participate in the development of longer term pricing strategies to encourage customers to migrate to Next generation services.
Core Functional Knowledge/ Skills
Pricing Tools; Costing Principles and Concepts; Competition Law Requirements & Settlement Conditions and other Regulatory Requirements; Analytical; Financial Principles (GAAP).

Qualifications
Degree (NQF 7) in Finance or Economics or similar
Alternatively, Grade 12(NQF 4) with relevant certification
Experience
5 years experience in commercial / solution pricing, within the ICT industry.
Alternatively, 6 years experience in commercial / solution pricing, within the ICT industry.
