Our client, a leading distributorof hardware products has a challenging and rewarding position available for a Marketing Manager

Purpose of position:
Responsible for executing Vendor branding strategy, plans and programs as agreedbetween the vendors & the company.
Responsible for executing productbranding and promotional programs.
Responsible for creating, obtaining approval,securing vendor funding, execution, and claiming for all Vendors funds, completing proof ofperformance – regionalized. Ensures consistency of the organization and the respective vendorsbrand image through all communications and in all branding collateral.
Key ResponsibilityAreas:

Assumes responsibility for executing branding strategy, plansand programmes. 
Implements the established goals to ensure maintenance and growth ofmarket share and profitability of products and services of vendor brands within theorganization. 
Conceptualise and implements both long and short run strategicmarketing and branding plans and programmes as agreed, to ensure the profit growth and expansion ofthe Company’s products and services. 
Ensures the integrity and quality of allmarketing and branding efforts. 
Ensure funding support for all channel recruit,enable & growth programs and strategies
Conceptualise and prepares direct &indirect mail campaigns. 
Directs and communicates with external marketing supplierson ongoing campaigns. 
Conceptualise, implements and manage promotional programmes& events in line with pre-agreed budgets and according to Company procedures. 
Assists with controlling marketing and branding results, ensuring that corrective action takesplace to be certain that achievement of marketing and branding objectives are within designatedbudgets. 
Managing, claiming and collection of vendor funding in accordance torelevant vendor’s T&C’s 
Stays informed of developments in themarketing field and of markets affecting the operations. 
Completes special projectsas assigned. 
Manage Vendor leads through the lead generation tool 
Drive Lead Generation Campaign 
Report on Vendor leads and the Lead GenerationCampaign and its return on investment 
Maintain accurate and up to date Resellerdatabase 
Manage all Vendor Campaigns   
Liaise directly withVendor when necessary 
Report on the campaigns return on investment 
Draw up and adhere to Press Release plan
Assist with identifying pressreleases  
Instruct and manage freelance writer
