Role details:
Ourclient, a leading distributor of hardware products has a challenging and rewarding positionavailable for a Business Unit Manager (Advanced Technologies)

Purpose ofposition:
Promote sale by developing client relationships, increasing the skilllevel within the company and clients and advising clients in the pricing of the solutions.
Key Responsibility Areas:

Involve the vendor and sales in customer meetings, be tactful in the approach and followthrough with at least three key action points per meeting
Work closely with resellers,understand their targets from the vendor and gain majority market share within their businesses
Provide first level technical advice on products and keep customers informed of new developmentsin product set
Professionally and efficiently manage customers engagement with a view tomaximizing the client experience, This should be achieved through: Adhering to continuous productknowledge, improvement (Ongoing training), cross and up sell of unavailable product, fast butaccurate responses to email and telephonic quote requests and skilful price negotiation
Reports on lost deals with reasons and pending deals (pipeline)
Display accuracyregarding messages, quotes, orders and information given
Answer customer queries, offerproduct information
Consult with clients to establish the needs of their business
Ensure customer expectations are met (order taking and delivery)
Increase overallcustomer satisfaction of new and existing customers’ base in order to be effective in solvingchallenges that arise, and need to be solved for the customers
Report weekly on allactivities wins and losses
Work closely with the vendor on deals/tenders to ensure they aresecured for the company and its resellers
Identify and develop underperformingcustomers

Education & Experience:

Matric/Grade 12
Tertiary qualification preferential
Minimum 3 years front linesales experience (essential)

Technical Competencies:

Building and maintainingrelationships with existing and new business partners
Business development and programmanagement within allocated business partner accounts
Recruitment and enablement of newbusiness partner
Account planning and performance analysis
Exceeding salestargets
Preparing of partner plans and business development plans
Facilitatingtechnical and brand sales training for business partners
Facilitating and assistance withmarketing events to generate leads for business partners
