Job Purpose
As a Atlassian Specialist, you will be responsible for driving a team and managing the set-up, maintenance, and ongoing development of continuous build/integration infrastructures. You will manage tasks to create and maintain fully automated continuous integration (CI) build processes for multiple software environments, including writing, building and deploying scripts. You will oversee application engineers and various stakeholders to design, configure and support the Atlassian suite of products including JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk, and other popular add-ons. This position requires close collaboration with the client and multiple team members to manage Atlassian and other Software as a Service (SaaS) vendor applications to drive and lead implementation of innovative solutions

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
• 3+ years experience working and training in an Agile environment, including experience in the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• 3+ years experience using Agile Methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean) Continuous Integration (e.g., Jenkins, Hudson), and executing Continuous Delivery (CD) tasks to ensure a common front-end and consistent delivery process for application developers
• 3+ years leading teams in a technical environment, managing the flow of day-to-day operations
• 3+ years supervising project planning and implementation efforts to ensure supervised team achieves goals in production and/or service
• 3+ years performing issue reporting, research, analysis, confirmation and support resolution on assigned projects
• 3+ familiarity using software versioning / revision control applications (e.g. Subversion, Git, etc.)
• 3+ years experience training users administrators using wikis, technical documentation, use cases, process flows and test cases
• 3+ years experience in the Atlassian suite and other tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, JSD, BitBucket, etc.) with current Atlassian professional certification:
• JIRA design, implementation, optimization, migration, administration and customization
• Familiarity JIRA project workflows, vocabulary, security schemes, screen schemes, permission and notification schemes
• Familiarity Confluence security, spaces, design, and integration with JIRA
• Experience deploying and customizing Confluence, JIRA, and other Atlassian products using standards and best practices
• Experience with hosted environments and remotely collocated systems
• Provide training to technical and non-technical teams to use JIRA and associated tools

Preferred Qualification and Experience
• 5 Years of Relevant Information Technology Experience.
• Minimum 3 years supporting SaaS software solutions for corporate technology
• Minimum 3 years managing teams in a relevant field
• Preferred Atlassian certified expert, with minimum 2 years supporting Atlassian products (or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire)

Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise
• Previous experience in a dedicated DevOps Engineer role
• Experience and high understanding of cloud and virtualization technologies
• Familarity with CI/CD tools such as
o Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence, Stash/BitBucket, JIRA Service Desk (JSD), Bamboo, Crowd)
o Jenkins
