Be part of an innovative and strategic business within our IT division at TFG, a leading fashion & lifestyle retailer in Africa!

The Foschini Group (TFG) is looking to hire a Systems Trainer to join our Learning and Change team, to take responsibility for the training role and provide regular, ongoing training on a variety of existing systems and technologies, as well as training on a variety of IT projects/implementations.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Aligning to the ADDIE principle for Learning & Development
• Development of static as well as eLearning | online content
• Delivery of face to face as well as online learning solutions
• Administration of all logistics relating to learning delivery
• Identifying learning needs (needs assessments)
• Development and implementation of learning strategies for a variety of system applications
• Liaising with Subject Matter Experts and Key Stakeholders
• Developing and managing training & communication plans
• Providing one-on-one coaching and support to learners
• Ensuring that learning needs and outcomes have been met
• Managing the evaluation and assessment process
• Evaluating skills transfer (post implementation)
• Maintaining monthly and annual reports / updates
• Providing input into the Change Management Strategy
• Providing Change Management support

The requirements are:
• Excellent instructional design & development skills
• Experience in using a variety of authoring tools e.g. Storyline, Captivate; Adobe creative cloud etc.
• A relevant tertiary qualification (ETDP; Train the Trainer or equivalent)
• 3- 5 years Relevant Technical | Systems training experience
• A firm understanding of adult learning styles
• An affinity for Innovation
• Excellent facilitation, presentation and coaching skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong administrative skills
