Job – Duties & Responsibilities

Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, APN’s etc)
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations, troubleshooting of desktops, servers,etc,
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Carries out research to find out the problems and develops solution for the same
Maintenance of the equipment and infrastructure available at the sites
He helps in the installation process of new and advanced technologies
Adhere to company and client Health and Safety policies and regulations and undergo Health and Safety Training

Competency Requirement

Education or Academic Qualification –
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree from reputable institution preferred, HCNA or HCNP,
Applicable advanced network device certification

Work Exposure or Professional Experience –
7 – 12 years relevant work experience

Skills required (Soft & Technical)
Possesses knowledge of general electronics and Datacenter.
Demonstrates the ability to work with a specific sort of IT equipment.
Is able to handle multiple tasks within a single day; does not allow longer-than-expected service calls to cause frustration or major setbacks.
Skilled at managing any kind of technical work at the field even with little supervision
They should have ability to work in adverse setting and climatic conditions
Sound ability to diagnose problems with existing equipment and fixing them is also essential
Ability to interpret technical issues through the non-technical description provided by their customers
Ability to communicate fluently with the customers and should possess good customer service skills
Enthusiastic, passionate, patient and should be a critical thinker
Should possess good logical skills and ability to prioritize tasks depending upon the emergency situations
Must be an enthusiastic self-starter and highly motivated individual
Attends regular ongoing education as scheduled by the employer or manufacturer of IT equipment
