Project Manager Contract: 12 –18 months Cape Town   Seeking a qualified and experienced Project Manager to take a project frominception (idea stage), and organise a plan to deliver all aspects of the final working solution. The PM will need to be able to manage project delivery across both Agile and traditionalMethodologies. Projects will be both business and technically focused and involve technologysolution enablement. Duties & ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery Management Take a project from inception (idea stage), and organise a plan todeliver all aspects of the final working solution Define project objectives, scope, impacts,outputs, cost, benefits and success criteria in collaboration with business champions, business unitmanagement and stakeholders and programme sponsor (where applicable) Manage the people, processesand technology required to deliver solutions effectively according to the project requirements Leadcross functional project teams by task assignment and follow up to ensure on-time completion Ensuredelivery of the required output(s) for each phase or stage Create and control all project managementrelated documents Conduct post implementation reviews (PIRs), define recommendations based on bestpractices and lessons learnt Understand and ensure that the business requirements have beenunderstood and correctly interpreted Issues and Risk Management Identify and mitigate risks thatmay negatively impact the project Escalation of key decisions, unresolved issues and risks BudgetControl Manage the project budget by forecasting requirements, analysing variances, and initiatingcorrective action People Management Mentor team members on structured methodology and bestpractices Provide regular and timely feedback to team members and their respective line managers Quality Management Apply quality management principles and processes Ensure all work is undertakenwithin the organisation standards and processes Ensure required documentation is complete, currentand stored appropriately Communication/Reporting Conduct regular project reviews and accuratelycommunicate the status of the project Produce management reports using established IT PortfolioManagement methodology Establish and update plans with actuals and forecasts   FunctionalCompetencies Deep understanding and experience of IT Project Management methodologies Ability todevelop Business Cases or Feasibility studies to justify initiatives for approval by the Executiveteam Ability to align the IT Projects being executed to Business Requirements throughout theprograms and projects lifecycle Strong facilitation and communication skills at multiple stakeholderlevels Strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and partners Strong leadershipability of direct and virtual teams Proactive Risk and Issue Management skills Ability to analysethe impact of change on the Business, Programs and Projects and put required actions in place RetailBusiness acumen Excellent multi tasking ability Attention to detail and working to deadlinesessential

Skills and Experience
Qualification & Experience Minimum Qualification Relevant 3 year tertiary or NQF alignedqualification, IT relevant qualification an advantage Project Management certification –PMBOK/PMP and or Prince 2 Practitioner or Agile PM Experience Required 5 - 7 years experience inProject Management Managed at least 5 IT or IT related projects through the complete projectmanagement lifecycle Proven track record of delivering business application and infrastructureprojects Agile Experience Ability and understanding of how to incorporate & merge scrum reportinginto overall project status would be an advantage PM experience in Enterprise size environmentsessential Contact: Liesl de Bruyn Liesl.deBruyn@eoh.co.za
