Job Purpose
To perform technical solution design through deep understanding of the capabilities of the technology stack that is used on a daily basis as well as other technologies that enable optimisation and effective operation of the solutions implemented. To ensure that the technology stack is used to the best of industry standards and to push the boundaries of what the technologies can do. To mentor the team members and to provide technical guidance as and when required within the scope of my expertise

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities • Create custom workflows.
• Create custom Web Parts, solutions and features.
• Responsible for building the framework and features of the portal.
• Write ASP.Net code.
• Perform detailed analysis of source systems and source system data and model that data for populating a central data repository to be used for Management Information / analysis.
• Design, develop, and test scripts to import data from source systems
• Design, create and tune physical database objects (tables, views, indexes) to support logical and dimensional models
• Create functions to provide custom functionality
• Be aware of potential blocking, deadlocking and write code to avoid those situations.
• Ensure that the code is written keeping in mind any security issues such as SQL Injection.
• Develop reports in SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Design, Develop and Deploy SSIS Packages.
Preferred Qualification and Experience
Matric
IT and Computer Science Diploma
Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise
5 -7 years experince Problem soving in highly technical environment
