Our External Client is currentlyin a process i recruiting a Business Support Manager to support the executive and the business unitteam.

Main Purpose of the Job
To provide abusiness management support function through the coordination of various strategic initiatives andoperations management interventions thereby supporting the Executive and the team to achieveeffective and efficient application of resources.
To support the Executive and the businessunit team with various activities with particular emphasis on Business Planning, PerformanceManagement, Project Coordination, Risk Management, Change Management, Operational and Administrativefunctions while facilitating proper governance and compliance to legislation and best practicewithin the framework of the Land Bank's policies and guidelines.

Company Secretary:

Develop and maintain aBoard, Board Committee, Advisor and Nominee Director Skills Matrix.
Coordinate therecruitment induction & orientation of members of the Board of Directors, Board Committees,advisors and nominee directors.
Develop and maintain a 3 year National Treasury CompliantCorporate Schedule for the Board of Directors, Management and the Office of the CompanySecretary.
Ensure compliance by the Board of Directors and Management with NationalTreasury planning and reporting requirements as prescribed from time to time, currently the NationalTreasury Framework for Strategic and Annual Performance Plans and the National Treasury Guidelinesfor Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reporting.
Coordinate and facilitate corporate planningby Management and the Board of Directors
Act as Chief Information Officer for the Board ofDirectors and in the Office of the Company Secretary and travel.
Develop, implement andmaintain policies, procedures, standards and administrative systems for the management of theaffairs of the Board of Directors and the Office of the Company Secretary.
Manage themeetings, conferences, training, development, remuneration and reimbursement of members of the Boardof Directors and the Company Secretary.
Conduct research and prepare papers, reports,presentations and correspondence for members of the Board of Directors and the CompanySecretary.
Provide Corporate Governance advisories to the Board of Directors, individualBoard members, Executive Management and the Company Secretary as required.
Develop andmanage databases and filing systems for the Board of Directors and in the Office of the CompanySecretary
Ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of data and other informationholdings of the Board of Directors, Management and the Office of the Company Secretary.
Develop and manage the budgets of the Board of Directors and of the Office of the CompanySecretary.
Manage the allocation of available resources on the Board and in the Office ofthe Company Secretary to enable successful task performance.
Manage all procurement forgoods and services for the Board of Directors and in the Office of the Company Secretary.
Manage strategy, planning and reporting in the Office of the Company Secretary.
Coach,guide and mentor staff in the Office of the Company Secretary if so directed.
Spearheaddelivery in the Office of the Company Secretary.
Act as Risk Champion in the Office of theCompany Secretary.
Develop, implement and maintain an ICT Strategy and Plan for the Boardof Directors and the Office of the Company Secretary ensuring that user specification requirementsare accurate, that system capabilities are optimally utilised, and that there is continuous feedbackto inform project and system changes.
Ad-hoc responsibilities as and when required

 Preferred Minimum Education andExperience

Postgraduate tertiary qualification in relevant area offocus Business Administration
5 - 8 years relevant work experience as a Business Manager /Management Consultant / Project Manager / Executive Coordinator
5 years leadershipexperience in a comparable environment
