My client in Umhlanga is lookingfor a Desktop Support Technician for a 6 months' contract. The successful candidate will providefirst and second line technical support on all workstations within the area

Minimum Requirement:

- A+ certification

- N+ certification

- MCSE and ITIL certified

 
Responsibilities:


Deliver first and second line technicalsupport on all workstations within area of service.

Responsible for upgrading andmaintaining end-user software versions and equipment.

Co-ordinate, install, set upand complete departmental moves with regards to IT equipment.

Effective andefficient handling of assigned incidents.

Maintenance of all hardware onworkstations.

Schedule standby for after hour support

Identifyfinancial and business risks to the company and escalate accordingly.

Ensure enduser satisfaction with excellent service with regards to assigned incidents.

Professional and efficient communication to relevant stakeholders.
Support effectiveteamwork
