Network Design and Management:

Company network is continually analysed, optimally designed and secured

Networkinfrastructure is kept up to date and on a single standard across the organisation

Monthly network status reports are prepared and presented

Cost effectivenetwork design and operation is ensured

Network standards are researched andimplemented

Problem areas are timeously identified and corrective action taken

Network performance is analysed and optimised accordingly

Optimalutilisation and application of network management software is ensured

Networksecurity is designed, applied and maintained


 
RiskManagement:

Network recovery procedures are investigated andimplemented

A change control process is adhered to

Firewalltechnology to ensure network security is analysed, designed and implemented to minimise risk

A test environment is created, researched and managed

NetworkSecurity Policy is documented and updated

IT security threats and risks arehighlighted and recommendations are put forward


 
Process/System Improvement:

Project management principles areemployed

Technical competence is maintained

New technologies areresearched and proposed

Comprehensive capacity planning is conducted
