To provide accurate information on configurations and their documentation to support all the other Service Management processes

Need to be client focused in terms of services provided from the operations center, need to be aware of a multiple client environment i.e. different contracts, service level agreements, need to comply with security, environmental and all other BCX policies The need to comply with the BCX Service Management framework The need to be aware of new developments in respect of information technology as well as be responsive to the dynamic environment in which this takes place The need to be aware of the requirements and implications of the Information, Communication and Technology requirements CUSTOMERS Senior Manager: SMC Operations Service Management Disciplines Process Owners Senior Service Delivery Managers And Their Reporting Structures. Data Centre BCX Competency Centres Client Or End-User ROLES Compile And Distribute Reports Verify Quality Of Information Participate In The RFC Approval Process Interface With Change Management Database Data Owners Escalate Inconsistencies on data Assist With Training And Awareness Review And Audit Data Integrity Review Activities and process Perform Analysis Of Data Monitor Process Activities Participate in project deliverables Attend workshops and Configuration Management meetings Compile and distribute data recons Review and Compile work instructions and procedures Assist with audits Input into Process Improvements

Grade 12, NQF Level 4 Relevant diploma/degree, NQF level 5/6 advantageous Preferably ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate ITIL RCV A+ EXPERIENCE 3 - 5 years experience in an IT environment COMPETENCIES Knowledge: Good Planning Skills Good Understanding Of Process, Procedures And Work Instructions Management And Configuration Management Tools Used For The CMDB (i.e. Remedy) Reporting Skills Technical Understanding Of Service Components And Technology Utilised Working Knowledge Of Microsoft Office Software Products Understands BCX's Business Ethics And Values Core Competencies: Analytical Thinking Communication Conformity Customer Excellence Orientation Feedback Listening Potential Organising Reading Comprehension
