Skills and Experience
Minimum requirements: Matric MTCNA MTCRE 3 – 5 years experience working in a similar role ofsupporting client network infrastructure and installations. Skills and experience required: Solving IP network issues Extensive experience on routers and switches. In-depth understanding ofBGP Experience in Network design and architecture In-depth knowledge & experience of network routingprotocols Data centre infrastructure management & maintenance Responsibilities Installing,supporting and maintaining new network hardware and software infrastructure Installing, supportingand maintaining new network security hardware Monitoring network usage Analysing and resolvingfaults Undertaking routing preventative measures Installation and maintenance of routers andswitches Security monitoring Creating & editing firewall policies Firewall and VPN management andadministration Assisting with network design Report generation Provide assistance to other technicalstaff, act as an escalation point Provide afterhours support as required Travel to client sites asrequired.
