Purpose of the Position

Analysis, design, development and implementation of solutions (Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and Service Orientated Architecture (SOA))
Key Deliverables, amongst others
• Analysis, design and implementation of solutions (Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Enterprise Service Bus(ESB), and Service Orientated Architecture (SOA))
• Functional and Technical Specification documentation
• Development of solutions based on web Methods 7.x or greater
• Solution Deployment
• Quality Assurance Testing
• Mentor / coach juniors developers

Required Competencies

Qualification
• A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant qualification.
• web Methods certification an advantage

Experience
• Minimum of 3 year overall development Experience
• At least 5+ years of programming/application development and design work experience using the web Methods 7.x Suite (Developer, Integration Server, MyWebMethods Server, Broker, Trading Networks etc.)
• Experience with development/maintenance using web Methods BPM (Business Process Monitoring) or CAF using a WM designer tool.
• At least 2+ years’ experience with the various web Methods adapters
• Must display excellent programming skills using web Methods Flow
• Understanding of the publish-subscribe Broker model
• Development experience in creating web services using web Methods
• web Methods certification an advantage
• Solid understanding of Integration methodology and best practices
• Superior knowledge of Web Services (REST, SOAP, WSDL, HTTP, JMS, etc.)
• Experience in different communications protocols (AS1, AS2, AS3 etc.)
• In depth experience with all aspects of web Methods Integration Server and Broker Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of the web Methods Product Suite
• MS SQL Server 2005/2008 development
• Operating Systems : Windows XP, Windows 2008 server
• MS Office 2007, or later
• Experience with Java application development
• Web development experience (HTML, Java scripts, JSP, etc.)
