Role details:
Apply new technology to be able to assist clients to set up new hard and software in line with approved standards by keeping abreast of technology changesBuild a sustainable relationships with clients by understanding needs and providing solutions timeously to ensure continuity of service deliveryRespond to calls received from help desk by analysing the fault and responding accordingly thus ensuring timely action to faultsEnsure Service Level Agreements are met by responding to calls within the agreed service level agreement turnaround time to ensure department and standards are met

Track calls logged by checking level of importance and prioritise response to critical calls to ensure business continuitySupport the staff with desktop and mobile computing to allow them to do their job including installing printers, user specific software in line with the requirementsSet-up new users as requested by HR and line managers according to the access level adhering to standard processes and proceduresProvide first line of contact for desktop and mobile computing and problem solving and ensure a calls logged are resolved or escalated to appropriate persons or departmentsAnalyse problems to ascertain where the fault lies network, instrument, to be able to solve problems timeously
