Reporting to: IT Project Manager (DL)

Location: STADIO Krugersdorp

Two vacancies exist for IT Specialists at the Krugersdorp Distance Learning Campus, to ensure information technology efficiency and effectiveness for internal staff and students.Key Roles and Responsibilities:

- Ensure connectivity, security and backup per the enforcement of security policies, backup strategy
- Maintain and monitor networking and telephony hardware and software, and ensure fault resolution
- Software, system upgrades and asset management and upgrades
- Mitigate end-user breaches and vulnerabilities, and safeguard administrator system access
- Video conferencing, related administration, and reporting
- Staff and student support, including but not limited to telephonic, remote support (RSA & Namibia)


Minimum Requirements | Qualification:

- Relevant under-graduate qualification in information technology or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting a Learning Management System (LMS)
- COMPTIA A+, ITIL, ITSM competency required
- Exceptional end-user computing skills
- HTML/CSS, JavaScript knowledge would be advantageous
- COMPTIA N+ and COMPTIA S+ would be a further advantage
