Responsibilities:

- Firewall security, removing users and adding users.
- Active Directory, WSUS, Print Servers, SAN Shares.
- Cable traceability & Troubleshooting of faulty connections.
- Printer Troubleshooting & Installs.
- Backups.
- Crimping.
- Cabling.
- Weekly reports on SLA Clients.
- Mounting of Cabinets
- Installation of Windows server, SME Server (Linux), Windows OS & office packages.
- Moving Profiles to new computers including PST files.
- Server 2008, 2012. Windows XP to Windows 10.
- Antivirus reports & installations.
- Create, delete & increase mailboxes.
- Monitoring of Network & WI-FI sites that is down.
- Creating VPN’s.
- Printer Troubleshooting.
- Stock pickups.
- Check all Wireless sites are operational and all Access Points are working.
- Wireless Bridges setup between locations
- Setup of new networks at train stations / SLA clients / Taxi ranks
- Ruckus / Unifi / Setups

Qualifications and Experience:

- 3 Years Minimum requirements in Networking.
- MCSE
- MCITP
- A+ / N+
- IT related qualification (completed or in-progress)
- ITIL certification (Will be an advantage)
- Mikrotik experience (intermediate)
- Ubiquiti experience (beginner)
- Ruckus experience (beginner)
- Microsoft Office
- CWNA (Will be an advantage)
- MTCNA (Will be an advantage)

Other Skills and Attributes:

- This requires the Technician to go out on a weekly basis to do the SLA Site Visit.
- Traveling will be required from time to time to other branches (DBN, ELS, CPT, PE)
