UX Designer Consultant Cape TownPermanent Role Description & Key Result Areas: Participate in digital campaign and projectbrainstorms or user-focused offerings. Work closely with the IA in developing an overall strategicplan. Assisting the development of branding and identity solutions for internal clients. Providescreen-based solutions focusing on UI design and concepting across channels such as mobile, web, PCapplications and interactive TV. User experience, user interface and interaction design planning andmanagement on all platforms, Responsible for creating and communicating detailed design andfunctional requirements through all stages of the project development process. Create definition andexperience briefs, user flows, wireframes, visual comps and rapid, lightweight interactiveprototypes, through software like Axure Ensuring the consistent visual presentation and UI designthrough user centred design principles. Partner with the project team to determine and define theproject communication goals Recognize and help define the differences between the platforms and howit directly affects the user experience in each Ensure consistency of the user experience,regardless of the platform Use analytics to gain insight to customer/user behaviour to improve UIAble to input and design for animation/motion solutions and demos created in Flash, 3D or similarsoftware. Work on projects from concept and sketching to final design and asset creation. Contributeto the Experience Design knowledge base.  Gain, develop and maintain a high-level knowledge ofall the capabilities and skill sets within the digital design industry Strategy Developing theInformation Architecture for new campaigns and projects, providing the base for UI design Developing process flows and journey maps   Influence campaign strategy  Providesoperational support on Digital strategies. Skills and Experience
Requirements: University Degree majoring in Behavioural Sciences/StatisticalAnalysis/Economics/Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent, or certified from HumanFactors International. Experience within a digital media or performance media firm, tracking,measuring and optimising digital campaigns is required. Experience in working within amarketing/business intelligence environment working with analytical software (e.g. Google Analytics,SiteCatalyst, Coremetrics, etc.) High level of experience in data analysis techniques Strongproficiency with AXURE or equivalent software and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producingreports and presentations Experience in identifying and validating strategic and tactical marketingobjectives and in measuring and analysing online marketing campaigns including: natural and paidsearch, email, affiliate, display and social Experience in working with website optimisation toolsfor A/B and multivariate testing, e.g. Google Website Optimizer, Visual Website Optimizer,Optimizely, Maxymiser, etc. Competencies Continuous renewal Decision making Technical knowledgeInitiating action Client focus  Arina.Liebenberg@eoh.com
