Role details:
Provides the data needed to the Project and Delivery Managers as it relates to Budgets, Forecasts and Actual Project Spend. Review budget details with the Project Manager; outlining action that should be taken to avoid revenue and/or billing issues and highlight budget adjustments to be incorporated in revision requests. Coordinate with members of the Finance department on any specific actions required to address issues/challenges uncovered in the review of project finances. Consolidate the individual project forecasts into an annual portfolio budget for all active projects and ensure that the amounts requested do not exceed the approved Business Case. Employ financial oversight and control mechanisms and procedures to ensure that all project and programme expenses are in accordance with financial policies, procedures and rules and regulations. Ensure the smooth implementation of project accounting activities, including timely and accurate invoicing, monitoring of expenditure levels against budget and funding obligations, financial projections and submission of weekly, monthly and annual financial reports. Updates and maintains tracking sheets for project Purchase Orders, Provisions and Budget Transfers. Conduct monthly review and analysis of assigned projects, including review of Budgets, Forecast and Actuals to determine if there are any budgetary issues which need to be addressed/escalated. Develop and update Project Policies and Procedures guidelines for procurement, accounting and budgeting. Provide appropriate training and support to PMs to ensure they have a clear understanding of the projects financial position and can clearly communicate the status to the stakeholder. Provide assistance when necessary to internal or external auditors.

EXPERIENCE:- 3-5 years of experience in a Project Finance/Administration role Experience developing and monitoring project budgets and supporting the review and revision of project budgets
- Proven track record of previous exposure to Projects and Project deliverables Experience in using productivity suite (MS O365)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Economics or Finance field
- Business/Project Administration Diploma (3 years)
